Tim Hodges, Ph.D., is a Director of Research at Gallup. His mission is to help ensure that U.S. schools are great places to work and learn so they can prepare our nation's students for college, career and life success. To make his mission happen, Dr. Hodges consults with K-12 school districts, higher education institutions and leaders in workforce development and policy on best practices based on research.
Dr. Hodges leads research projects in strengths development, employee selection, employee engagement and well-being at Gallup. He has also delivered presentations and written journal articles and technical reports on many topics, including the CliftonStrengths assessment, strengths-based development, positive psychology and leadership development. He has contributed chapters to the books Positive Psychology in Practice, Organizational Behavior (10th Edition), Positive Psychology on the College Campus and the Oxford Handbook of Positive Psychology and Work.
Dr. Hodges received a bachelor's degree in agribusiness, a master's degree in leadership education and a doctorate in business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
