Gallup surveys conducted in more than 150 countries worldwide allow for regular updating of world citizens' views on U.S. leadership.

The following map displays approval of U.S. leadership in countries surveyed by Gallup, revealing the extent to which views have changed from 2008 to 2009. Additional findings from 2009 will be added to the map as new data become available.
