U.S. Satisfaction Dips to 30%

Satisfaction with the state of affairs in the United States has dipped to the 30% level among Americans after being at 35% in June and 36% in May. Most of the decline is attributable to a downturn in the percentage of Democrats who say they are satisfied, falling from 61% in June to 50% this month. Republicans' satisfaction level is flat at 8%, while independents' is essentially unchanged at 31%.
