Indonesians Confident Ahead of World's Biggest Election

Voters in Indonesia head to polling stations Wednesday to cast their ballots in the world's biggest one-day election. Aside from the regular logistical issues of conducting an election across 17,000 islands, Wednesday's vote will be more complex than usual, with parliamentary and presidential elections taking place at the same time.

But headed into this monumental vote, Indonesians are even more confident in their electoral process now than they've been in the past. A record three in four Indonesians (75%) polled in 2018 said they are confident in the honesty of their country's elections.
